Privacy & Blocking

How blocking affects messages

PinkQuill uses a silent blocking system, similar to Instagram. When you block someone:

  • They can still send messages, but you won't receive them
  • Messages they send appear to go through on their end
  • They won't know they've been blocked
  • Existing conversation history remains visible to both parties
  • Their messages won't count toward your unread badge

Blocking from messages

  1. Open the conversation
  2. Click the info button (ⓘ)
  3. Select "Block"
  4. Confirm the block

Reporting abuse

If someone is harassing you or sending inappropriate content:

  1. Open the conversation
  2. Click the info button (ⓘ)
  3. Select "Report"
  4. Choose a reason and submit

Reports are reviewed by our team. We take harassment seriously and will take appropriate action.
